Formula / method
Batch time = ceil(items ÷ concurrency) × seconds per item
Worked example
10,000 items at 2 seconds each with 20 concurrent workers take about 1,000 seconds.
Assumptions and limitations
Workers run continuously at the same average rate and items have similar processing time.
Queueing, rate limits, retries, cold starts, uneven item sizes and provider batch windows can increase actual time.
